Frequently asked questions:

Everything you need to know about the product and billing.

  • How do I receive my rent as a landlord?

Once your tenant makes a payment, Rentat securely processes it and transfers the amount to your bank account. You’ll get a notification, and you can track all payments instantly from your dashboard.

  • How do I know if my tenant paid or not?

You’ll be notified instantly when a tenant makes a payment. The Rentat dashboard shows real-time status for each unit, so you can see who has paid, who’s late, and what’s upcoming. Each payment also comes with a digital receipt for your records.

  • What happens if a tenant doesn’t pay on time?

If a tenant misses a due date, Rentat sends automatic reminders to help ensure timely payments. You’ll see the payment marked as overdue in your dashboard, and you’ll stay informed.

  • How do I pay rent through Rentat?

Simply log in, select your lease, and tap “Pay Rent.” You can pay securely using a Credit Card, Debit Card, or Fawri. Once submitted, your payment is confirmed instantly, and you can view your full payments history anytime.

  • How do I get connected with my landlord when I download the app?

Your landlord will email you an invitation to join Rentat. Download the app and register using the same mobile number your landlord used. Once you verify your number, your account will be automatically linked to your lease with full access to rent details and payments.

  • What happens if the tenant pays manually/directly to the landlord?

If a tenant pays outside the Rentat app (such as via cash or direct bank transfer), the landlord can manually record the payment in the system and mark it as received. A receipt will be shared with the tenant, ensuring both parties still have a clear and updated record in their Rentat account.

  • Why do I need to download an app to use Rentat?

The Rentat app makes it easy to manage your rent anytime, anywhere. With the app, you can pay your rent easily, obtain receipts, and send maintenance requests—all in one place. It’s the simplest way to stay connected and in control of your rental experience.
